New Fire Restrictions

Just released the Pueblo Country Sheriff's Office and Fire Department have issued new fire restrictions effective 3:00 p.m. June 15th. The new restrictions include:

1. No outdoor welding

2. No outdoor smoking

3. No fireworks sale or use (2 Community Displays have received written exemptions)

4. No Recreational Burning (to include enclosed fires such as chiminea's or backyard fireplaces, barrels or pits)

5. No Charcoal Grills (*propane grilling is still permitted)

6. No Campfires or Agricultural Burns

Penalties will include fines, confiscations and mandatory court appearances and will be diligently enforced by the Pueblo Police Department.
